John Dunlap is now in his third year as the Athletic Director of Warner University and his eighth year at Warner University. Dunlap first came to Warner in 2012 as assistant athletic director and athletic chaplain. Prior to that, Dunlap was the head men’s basketball coach at Southeastern University for 11 years (2011-2001), helping the Fire earn a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national ranking and a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) national title in 2005.
John has been married to his wife Nita Dunlap for thirty-one years and they have three children together, daughter Katie 30, son Josiah 28, son Zachary 24.
He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from Maryville College in 1986 and a Master's of Sport's Science Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy in 1992.
