Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla.- The Royals women's basketball team lost to #17 Eastern Oregon Mountaineers Saturday afternoon in the final game of the Lady Royals Classic. The Mountaineers came out firing as they were red hot to start the game, making all of their first six shots. The Royals played tough and tried to keep up with the hot hands of the Eastern Oregon players, but it was just too much as the Mountaineers took a 47-23 lead into halftime. The Mountaineers finished the first half shooting 57% from the field and 56% from behind the three point line. The Royals came out in the third quarter determined to make a comeback on Eastern Oregon and would outscore them 18-12 in the third. However, the Mountaineers found their shot again in the fourth quarter and would continue to extend their lead on Warner. In the end, the Royals would fall to Eastern Oregon 85-57. The loss dropped Warner to 3-3 on the season.

The Royals will open up conference play on Wednesday November 17 at Thomas University. Game time is set for 5:30 pm.
