Lady Royals Prevail Over Keiser 68-55

LAKE WALES, Fla. – I'munique Green headlines with 19 points and 2 steals. Sara Poehlman puts up 14 points and 4 steals. Charisa Broadway scores 10 while adding 5 steals. Royals achieve second TSC win.

It was back and forth in the first quarter as both teams played well and Keiser held the 17-16 lead. It was the second quarter where the Royals took off. Sara Poehlman caught fire and sank 11 of her points in the second quarter. The Royals outscored the Seahawks 22-6 in the second and went into halftime with a comfortable 38-23 lead.

The Seahawks were able to fend off the Royals in the second half 32-30. I'munique Green registered 11 points and 2 steals. Cierra Wilson led the team in assists with 7 on the day. The Royals took the game 68-55.

The next game will take place in Lakeland against the tough #2 Southeastern University Fire. The Fire will enter the game at an unbeaten 18-0 overall and 9-0 in the Sun Conference. This game will be on Thursday January 18th at 6:00 p.m.
