LAKE WALES - FLA. This evening, the Warner Women's Basketball Team squared off with Ave Maria in The Sun Conference matchup of the week.
Unfortunately, The Royals were not able to extend their perfect home record, and fell to the Gyrenes by a score of 56-45.
Warner has been struggling with their shooting percentages and tonight was no different. Collectively, the Royals struggled to break a 20% shooting average from the field, but were however successful with their free throws which amounted to 81%.
The lone Royal who led the offense tonight was Daijah Turner, who scored 24 points tonight and was perfect with her free throw shots, making all 8 of them.
The Royals will have tomorrow to decompress from this game and be ready to take on another conference opponent on Saturday afternoon in an away game against #3 Southeastern University at 2:00 PM.
