LAKE WALES - FLA. This evening, the Warner Women's Basketball Team took on Mayville State University in a home matchup.
With a slow first half, the Royals only led for 1 minute and 19 seconds and scored 15 points in the first two quarters.
The second half saw Warner score 15 points in each quarter which amounted to double the amount scored throughout the first half. The offense was led by
Alana St. Clair, who scored 13 total points in her 28 minutes of game time.
Warner totaled 27 rebounds and 7 steals against the Comets, who boast a guard who has scored over 1,000 points in her career.
The Lady Royals shot a 31.7% from the field, 60% for three point shots, and 44.4% from the free throw line.
Unfortunately, Warner fell to the comets by a score of 69-45, making their current record 5-5.
