Warner Men’s Soccer – Royals TSC Playoff Hopes Halted By Seahawks In 1-3 Quarterfinal Loss

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Warner University Royals entered The Sun Conference Quarterfinals for the first time since November 8th, 2014. Unfortunately for the Royals it did not go as hoped, Warner was stunned by the Seahawks 1-3.
 
The Royals and Seahawks entered the end of the first half with no score. In the 55thminute, it was Keiser that struck first off a header from a free kick with the goal credited to Sebastian Espino. 
 
In the 61stminute, the Royals found pay dirt as Matheus Santiago knocked in his 11thseason goal. The assist was credited to a Kenolson Collin, his 6thof the season. Collin sprinted ¾ of the field before crossing to Santiago for the goal. 
 
It was the Seahawks that would find the net twice more in the half taking the TSC Quarterfinal by a final score of 3-1. 
 
In the game, Daniel Rodriguez fired 3 shots, Matheus Santiago rocked 3 shots and added a goal, Widler Monestime and Devyn Hencil both had a shot in the contest. 

The Royals postseason hopes are still alive as they now switch their focus to the NCCAA Regional Tournament and will play host to Columbia International, Date and Time TBA...
