Warner Women’s Basketball – Royals Plunder Eagles To Remain Unbeaten At Home, Turner Puts Up Career High 28 Points

LAKE WALES – FLA. The Lady Royals Women's Basketball Team competed this evening in a matchup of the NCCAA Trinity Baptist College Eagles where they aimed to continue their undefeated streak at home.

They were able to find huge success as they broke their season amount of points scored by nearly 20 and fell shy of the program high scoring record by 1 point.

Despite the Eagles drawing first blood 1-0 due to an administrative technical foul free throw, the Royals won each quarter 28-16, 51-28, 77-37, and finally
at the half, Warner tallied a 47.5 shooting percentage from the field, making 19 out of 40 shots, as well as a 60% of their 3 point shots. Their free throw percentage was even better as they made 7 out of 8, making that an 87.5%.

The second half saw Warner run away with the game and never looked back as their lead continued to grow until it reached its final score of 96-52.

The Royals were led by 3 athletes who each scored double digit points. Daijah Turner had the most with 28 which is her career single game high, followed by Valeria Merlos with 18, and then D'Asia James with 13.
