LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Warner Women's Basketball team is set to hit the road for their third Sun Conference matchup in their last four games. On the schedule is Coastal Georgia Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m.
The Royals are on a four game slide but look to take back their season against the Mariners. This will be the fourth time these two teams will meet on the court. The Royals defeated the Mariners back in 2011-12 when they faced off for the first time ever. Coastal Georgia joined The Sun Conference in 2017 and the Mariners took both TSC matchups from the Royals last year leaving the series 2-1 in favor of the Mariners.
Daijah Turner is the hottest Royal on the road as in 5 games played she averages 12.6 points a game. Her best game on the road was against Brewton-Parker where she scored 19 points and shot 42% from the field.
The other Royal coming on strong in the month of November was
Alana St. Clair. St. Clair has upped her points per game average to 10.2 with her season high 24 points on the road against Middle-Georgia State.
Coastal Georgia enters the game with a 6-5 overall record on a 2-game losing streak of their own having dropped to Florida Memorial and St. Thomas.
