BARTOW, Fla. – The Royals men's tennis team battled the visiting Coastal Georgia Mariners tough but fell 5-4 in the end.
 
The guys played a really good match and did a great job in doubles picking up Williams at number one and then number three. They put themselves in a good position going into singles, however College of Coastal Georgia quickly picked up wins at number for singles and number one singles. The Royals then tied the match back up in number two singles with Matteus Aquino continuing his strong play in singles and beating another quality opponent. Our number three singles and quarters played a very competitive match but came up short. Number five singles pick them up, freshman Bruno Carvalho had his best match of the young season.
