BARTOW, Fla. – The lady Royals played a close match with the Mariners but ended on the unfortunate side of a 0-9 loss.
 
The women's matchup was a lot more competitive than the score indicates. Number one and number three doubles were matches that were close to a Royals win. In singles, numbers 1-4 either went three sets or played very close matches.  "We are very young on the women's side, but we are starting to see major improvements" said head coach Jose Martinez.
