LAKE WALES, Fla.- On a rainy night in Central Florida, the Warner University men's soccer team picked up a win on senior night (part 1) at Royals field.
The Royals have experienced some mid-season woes as they enter tonight's game on a three-game slide having dropped to NAIA No. 14 St. Thomas, No.9 Southeastern and Webber.
Historically, the Royals are were 13-0-1 against the Gyrenes and carried a 10-0 TSC record. After tonight's win, that improves to 14-0-1 and 11-0 since the beginning of this matchup back in 2008.
The Royals got off to a hot start only taking five minutes to net their first goal. Simiran Pnaiser scored his first goal of the season with an assist from
Widler Monestime.
Daniel Rodriguez was a big part of the Royals offense netting his 8th and 9th goals of the season and also adding an assist on the night.
Widler Monestime already with an assist, knocked in his 6th goal of the season in the 28th minute.
Nick Diaz added on to a strong lead already for the Royals with his 2
nd goal of the season.
The Royals rolled through the stormy night to a 5-1 victory and improving to 6-6 overall with a TSC record of 3-3.
