LAKE WALES, Fla.- Tonight, the Royals faced the tough Edward Waters College Tigers for the second time this season. Unfortunately for the Royals, the Tigers came out on top 54-84.
Last week the Royal's went on the road into Tigers territory where they met defeat 59-88. The Royals came into tonight's game hoping to take snap a seven-game slide against the Tigers dating back to 2014.
At half-time the Royals headed to the locker room trailing 25-36. Mia Leite on the Tigers scored 11 of the points with 4 rebounds, 2 offensive and 2 defensive.
D'Asia James on the Royals had 10 total points with 9 rebounds, 4 offensive and 5 defensive. Following closely,
Alana St. Clair scored 9 total points with 7 rebounds, 1 offensive and 6 defensive.
D'Asia James finished the night with a double-double. 19 points with 17 rebounds which both were new career bests for James.
Alana St. Clair finished 1 rebound shy of a double-double ending her night with 18 points and 9 rebounds.
The Royals shift focus to Florida National University with tipoff set on Thursday, November 14 in Hialeah, at 5:00 p.m.
