LAKE WALES, Fla.- The Warner University men's soccer team wraps up the season against Keiser University (9-5, TSC 6-2), falling to the Seahawks 3-1 last night.
The Seahawks had the first successful goal in the 22nd minute. The Royals fired back in the 34th minute when Widler Monestime made this his 7th goal of the season assisted by Dawson Johnson.
Both teams defensively stayed strong which ended the first half tied 1-1.
Angelo Neto did a phenomenal as goalie saving some impressive shots by the Seahawks and a penalty kick. Neto saved 10 shots for the Royals. Toward the end of the game the Seahawks finally got through and in the 77th and 82nd minute scored two goals. The Royals throughout the final minutes made a strong push but were not able to find the back of net.
This concludes the Royals season with an overall record 7-7-1 and 3-4-1 in conference play.
