JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-Tonight the Warner Women's Basketball Team faced off against Edward Waters College in their second game of the season.
After starting with a strong win against Johnson University last Saturday, the Royals entered tonight's game knowing they were going to have battle against the Tigers.
The Tigers held a six-game winning streak against the Royals in the overall series. After tonight's game, with the Royals falling against the Tigers 59-88 , it extended the streak to seven straight.
The Royals went up against a tough Tigers lineup that featured Le'Terra Ransom who played a phenomenal game putting up 26 points on the night.
Troi Grant led the Royals offensively with 14-pts, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks.
D'Asia James followed closely with 11-pts.
The Royals shot 41 percent from the field in the second quarter and shot the best in the fourth quarter making 50 percent of their attempts from the field. The Tigers shot 48% from the field overall and improve to 4-0 to start their season.
The Royals will shift focus and take on NCAA DI University of North Florida this Saturday, November 9
th in Jacksonville in part of an exhibition matchup.
