LAKE WALES, Fla. – This evening the Royals faced the Mariners for the 6
th time since 2011. Despite of the strong start the Royals had in the first half leading 16-13, the Mariners were able to come back and defeat Warner 62-39.
The Royals struggled the entire second half to find the bottom of the net, only scoring 10 points, compared to Coastal Georgia's 29.
Troi Grant lead the Royals in scoring tonight with 10 points and secured a double-double with 10 rebounds. Grant was phenomenal from the 3 pt field goal ending the game 2-2.
Alana St. Claire was two point and one rebound shy from a double-double ending the night with 8 points and 9 rebounds.
The Royals move to 2-16 overall and 0-8 TSC. Warner will travel to Thomasville, Ga to take on the Night Hawks Saturday, January 18.
