LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Royals faced off against the Warriors this afternoon in The Sun Conference Opening Round.
 
Warner Men's Soccer comes to an end with a 1-3 loss this afternoon. The Royals were trailing 0-3 until Spencer Tassone scored his first goal of the season off of a corner kick and cut into the Warrior lead. Warner was held to 9 total shots in the game with just 3 shots falling on goal.
 
This was the first time in the bitter Crooked Lake Rivalry that the two teams met up in post season play. The overall regular season series tips in favor of the Royals 14-12-1. The Warriors cut into that deficit this season taking all three games from the Royals.
 
Warner finished the season 2-10-1 overall with a 1-7-1 TSC record. Splitting the wins between a home and away game, the Royals finished 1-6-1 at home while 1-4 on the road.
