The Royals would keep playing hard on both sides of the field, but the Lions would answer back before the half ended, scoring two goals, giving themselves the lead with time winding down heading into the second half. In the second half, the Royals looked to gain momentum and start a rally for a comeback. The Royals continued to be aggressive on defense and offense as they continued to put up attempts. The Lions would put up another goal in the 55th minute as they increased their lead over Warner. The Royals would continue to put pressure on the Lions but eventually time would run out as the final score would be one to three. The Royals drop to 2-8-2 on the year and still look for their first conference win ahead of the Crooked Lake rivalry match coming up in the middle of the week.
