MIAMI GARDENS, Fla- The Royals faced off against St. Thomas University in a Sun Conference matchup, taking place in Miami Gardens, FL.
This game started as a back-and-forth contest between both teams, but eventually got out of hand for the Royals. Going into the half, the Royals held a two-point lead over the Bobcats. However, Warner's prolific shooting quickly disappeared leading to an 83-55 defeat. On the day, the Royals shot a lackluster 37.3 percent from the field, and 25 percent from behind the arch.

The Royals paced the Bobcats in rebounds 35 to 34 but were unable to generate any fast break offense. Poor defense hurt the Royals today as the Bobcats scored at an efficient clip.
Courtney Logan finished the game with 12 points, a rebound, and three steals. Additionally,
Bianca Francis put together a good performance for the Royals, finishing the game with nine points on 60 percent shooting to go along with her eight rebounds. The key for the Bobcats in their victory today was their perimeter shooting, as the unit knocked down 12 threes out of 24 shots taken. Brooke Bogatz had a great game for the Bobcats finishing with 24 points, five rebounds, and five steals. Bogatz also paced the Bobcats in three-pointers made with four.
