Both teams remained evenly matched throughout the regular season game, displaying a strong defense that kept the scoreboard locked until the second half.
The game remained scoreless at halftime, neither side able to break through. However, excitement escalated quickly after the break. John Solis of Florida College drew first blood at the 47th minute, putting his team ahead early in the second half. Warner's resilience shone through when
Joseph Street equalized in the 55th minute, converting an assist from
Chad McAuliff into a crucial goal for the Royals. This effort marked a notable performance by Street, who had multiple attempts on goal throughout the match.
Warner's goalkeeper,
Wesley Lacy, alongside Florida's Ahiezer Santiago, were commendable between the posts. Despite opportunities on both ends following the equalizer, the match ended in a draw, with no game-winning goal realized.
