LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Warner University Men's Soccer team returned to Royals Soccer Field on Saturday, October 25, 2025, for a SUN Conference clash against the Southeastern University Fire. In an intense back-and-forth contest, the Royals came up just short, falling 3-2 despite a strong offensive showing.
The Royals found their rhythm early and continued to apply pressure throughout the match. Filip Mo and Michael Mote each found the back of the net for Warner, both making the most of their opportunities with one shot and one goal apiece. The pair's efficiency helped keep the Royals within striking distance against a potent Fire offense.
Offensively, Carson Hoben and Euan Bunn each tallied two shots and one shot on goal, while Marcel Tovar added another attempt as Warner created quality chances across the attack.
In goal, Mikey Melvin continued his impressive play, recording seven saves while facing 14 total shots from Southeastern. His efforts helped keep the Royals in the match down to the final whistle.
