TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – November 21, 2025 – Warner University freshman Amirah Johnson capped off an outstanding debut season with a strong performance at the NAIA National Cross Country Championship, held Friday morning in Tallahassee, Florida. Racing on the national stage for the first time in her collegiate career, Johnson placed 123rd out of 333 runners, clocking an impressive time of 23:07.8.

Competing against the top distance runners in the nation, Johnson showcased poise, strength, and determination throughout the 6K championship course. Her finish placed her in the top third of an elite national field, marking a significant milestone for both her young career and the Warner Women's Cross Country program.

Johnson's breakthrough freshman campaign has been defined by consistent improvement, standout finishes, and a growing presence within the SUN Conference and beyond. Her performance in Tallahassee further solidifies her potential as a key contributor for the Royals in seasons to come.
