LAKE WALES, Fla. - The Royals will face-off on Saturday against fellow NCCAA South Region member Clinton College for the first time in program history. The two teams will Tip-Off in the Turner Athletic Center at 12:00pm.

The Royals will look to continue their strong start to the month of December following Tuesday's 62-55 win over the University of Fort Lauderdale, which was led by a career performance from Bethany Howard. 

The Golden Bears enter into the weekend with a 3-4 record after falling to Toccoa Falls College 82-75 at home Tuesday. Clinton will play Webber International University on Friday before taking on the Royals in Lake Wales on Saturday.

Clinton comes into the Turner Athletic Center facing a Royals team that has solidified their identify of being a gritty and physical team on both sides of the court. The Royals will be sure to look to establish themselves early on in Saturday's game.through their defensive pressure and strength in attacking the basket on offense in what is sure to be an exciting match-up.




Warner Royals

• Bethany Howard is coming off a career night Tuesday where she scored 24 points on 11 FGs, while also recording 5 assists and 6 steals. 
   
• Carissa Marthy has been a rebounding machine this season, recording 13 rebounds in her last outing against UFTL and has secured 43 total rebounds so far this season. Her strength around the rim has been an important factor in each of the Royals wins this season. 

Clinton Golden Bears

• Alesha Canady a Junior Center leads the Golden Bears this season in scoring, with 68 points (11.3 ppg), and FG percentage (47.7%). 
   
• Jabrica Leslie a senior Guard has been vital for the Clinton offense, second in scoring with 66 points (13.2 ppg) and FG percentage (47.3%). Leslie offers an outside threat to balance Canady's offensive strength in the paint.
