LAKE WALES, FL - The Warner University Royals women's flag football team clinched a decisive victory against the Daytona State College Falcons at the Tye Athletic Field in Lake Wales, FL, on March 14, 2025. The game ended with a solid 28-13 scoreline, enhancing the Royals' record to 5-2, including a 2-2 record in the SUN conference for this regular season clash.
From the outset, the Royals displayed a commanding presence on the field, going into halftime with a promising lead of 14-6.
Kathryn Hutchinson, a standout player for Warner, delivered an exceptional performance, scoring three touchdowns, including a pivotal 18-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter that solidified the Royals' lead. She rounded off her impressive stats with a long pass of 45 yards and a total of 213 passing yards throughout the game.
Jessica Finley and
Ana Vincensini also contributed significantly, with Finley catching two touchdown passes totaling 84 yards and Vincensini making a notable 38-yard reception.
