AVE MARIA, FL - In the SUN Conference Tournament Quarterfinal held on April 15, 2025, the Warner University Royals faced a challenging defeat against Ave Maria, ending with a score of 20-1 in favor of Ave Maria. The game, which took place in Ave Maria, Fla., saw the Royals unable to recover after a demanding first half that concluded with them trailing by 11 goals.

Warner University struggled to match the early intensity set by the Gyrenes, who established a dominant lead that they maintained throughout the contest. The only goal for the Royals was scored by Bailey Lightsey, marking a brief highlight in an otherwise tough outing. 

Goalkeeping duties for Warner were shared between Krisandra Ford and Noralee Sprague, who faced an aggressive offense from the Gyrenes.
