SARASOTA, Fla. – The Warner University Men's Soccer team traveled to Sarasota on Saturday, September 27th, where they faced off against New College of Florida. Despite a determined effort from the Royals, the hosts capitalized on their scoring chances as Warner fell 3–0 in non-conference play.
Goalkeeper Wesley Lacy anchored the Royals defensively, recording six saves on nine shots faced to keep Warner within striking distance for much of the match. His efforts in goal showcased composure and quick reflexes against an aggressive New College attack.
Offensively, Rolando Padron led the charge with three shots, generating several strong looks at goal throughout the match. Wade Bishop and Chad McAuliff each added a shot apiece as the Royals continued to press forward in search of scoring opportunities.
Although Warner was unable to find the back of the net, the team displayed resilience and continued to build chemistry across all phases of play.
