LAKE WALES, Fla. - Warner Rocket League took home a dominant 3-1 win on Thursday, their first game of the SUN Conference season, against Keiser University (FL). The Royals started out with a win for game 1. Colton Herrin (Spade) scored the first goal of the night followed by a goal in the last ten seconds from Andrew Wade (BigWade) to solidify game one. Game two was down to the wire, unfortunately for the Royals, the Seahawks were able to put a goal in the back of the net with only 3 seconds on the clock to take the overall series to a 1-1 tie. Game three Wade puts the Royals in the lead with a goal early on and Herrin follows him up to get a 2-0 lead with two and a half minutes on the clock. Several minutes of back and forth goals from the Seahawks and the Royals that ended game 3 in a 4-3 win for the Royals. Game 4 saw Alexavier Schwartz (Wisdom) scoring 2 goals, taking Warner to a 3-1 victory in the final game and a 3-1 Victory against the Seahawks in the series.
Warner had some stand out performances from all of the guys. The broadcasting team of Alex Hilliard and Joshua Jeffries did an incredible job highlighting the victory and providing great commentary on the livestream. Gavin Kahnert took great stats highlighting Alexavier, Warner's newest Freshman, as the lead goal scorer of the night with 5 goals and the player with the most saves with 6. Colton Herrin is noted as having the most assists and Andrew Wade performed very balanced across all stats with 4 goals and 5 saves.
