RECAP: Royals Sweep Georgia Swing Trip with Victories Over Life and Reinhardt

LAKE WALES, Fla. - The Warner University Royals continued their dominant 2026 campaign with a commanding two-game sweep in Georgia, defeating Life University 32-20 on March 23 and shutting out Reinhardt University 42-0 on March 24 in SUN Conference action.

The trip marked another milestone stretch for Warner, as the Royals showcased their ability to win in multiple ways—outlasting a tough offensive battle against Life before turning in a defensive masterclass against Reinhardt to complete the sweep.

Against Life, Warner faced its first real test of the season, trading blows early before pulling away late. After a 6-6 tie in the first quarter, the Royals found rhythm in the second behind quarterback Kathryn Hutchinson, who led multiple scoring drives and connected with a deep group of receivers. Warner totaled 326 passing yards and five touchdowns, with key contributions across the board.

Jessica Finley and Maggie Lauber each hauled in two touchdown receptions, while Ana Vincensini added another score. Finley also made an impact defensively, recording an interception to halt a Life drive and preserve momentum. The Royals defense came up with timely stops down the stretch, limiting Life's opportunities and sealing the 32-20 victory.

Warner followed that performance with a dominant showing against Reinhardt, returning to form with a complete shutout victory, 42-0. The Royals defense set the tone early and never relented, forcing multiple turnovers and keeping Reinhardt off the scoreboard throughout all four quarters.

The secondary once again proved to be a strength, generating takeaways and providing short fields for the offense. Warner capitalized on those opportunities with efficient scoring drives, controlling the tempo and building a comfortable lead en route to the sweep-clinching win.

Across the two-game stretch, the Royals demonstrated depth, discipline, and resilience—handling adversity against Life before reasserting their defensive dominance against Reinhardt. The Georgia swing further solidifies Warner as a force in SUN Conference play.
