Palmer has been a certified athletic trainer working at Dock Mennonite Academy from 2014-2018 and joined Warner at the end of the fall semester of 2018 with Softball being his primary sport in the spring semester.

Notable internships in college included the ESPN Wide World of Sports in the summer of 2013 and with the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL in the spring of 2014. At the high school level Palmer has worked with multiple athletes that have become high level Division 1 athletes, including a National and U-20 World Champion in Track and Field.
