Chelsea Williams is in her first season as an assistant coach on the Warner University Women’s Basketball staff.  She is in charge of the team’s travel, academics, as well as game management and the team’s JV program.
Williams spent the 2018-2019 basketball season serving on the staff at the University of Virginia-Wise as an assistant coach.  While at UVA-Wise, Williams oversaw the program's recruiting, social media accounts, academic development, community outreach, as well as the development of the post players.

Williams was a standout player at NCAA DII Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Florida. She finished her career with over 1000 points and 600 rebounds, while being named a 2ndTeam All-Conference selection, and an All-Freshman team member.  She aided the Lions to 20 wins as a senior in 2014, and a birth into the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

The 6-0 post averaged 13.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, while shooting 57% from the field and 71% from the free-throw line.
At Suncoast High School, she averaged 18 points and 11 rebounds per game while being named 1stTeam All-Area and Most Outstanding Player in the North/South All-Star game.

"I had the privilege of coaching Chelsea at Saint Leo University, and so I'm thrilled to be teaming up with her again at Warner. She has a huge heart and believes in developing young women on and off the court. She was a dominant post player, and will be a great addition working with our post players at Warner," said Coach Jessee.
