Corbett Day was named Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Warner University following over a decade of impactful coaching experience spanning youth, high school, and collegiate-level athletics. Day brings a strong foundation of leadership, player development, and Christ-centered mentorship to the Royals lacrosse program.
His coaching journey began 14 years ago when he co-founded Special Forces Lax, a travel program created for his sons and their peers. Under his guidance, the team advanced to the US LAX National Regional Championships, where his son scored the winning goal in overtime on Father’s Day—a milestone moment that reflects Day’s deep passion for both family and the sport.
In Michigan, Day served as Head Coach at East Lansing High School, where he coached one of the nation’s top scoring attackmen, setting both state and national records with 18 goals in a single game. He also led Tecumseh High School to its first-ever Regional Championship, with his sons playing a key role in the historic win.
Relocating to Florida in 2020, Day became an assistant coach at Tohopekaliga High School, where he helped guide the boys’ team to its most successful season in school history. His middle son earned multiple state records, and his daughter became a four-year varsity standout in basketball, earning First Team All-Conference honors and leading the team to its first District Championship.
For the past two and a half years, Day served as Head Coach for the Lake Wales Boys Lacrosse program, where he led the team to back-to-back district championship appearances. In 2024, he transitioned to Warner’s Women’s Lacrosse program, where he has made immediate history. Under his leadership, the Royals earned the first win in program history during the 2024 season. The following year, in 2025, Warner achieved its first-ever SUN Conference victory and secured a historic bid to the postseason SUN Conference Tournament.
Coach Day credits the program’s rapid growth to intentional recruiting, a dedicated coaching staff, and an unwavering commitment to keeping “God First” in everything they do. “I believe we have all the right people to continue the growth to a more successful program,” he shared. “We’re building something special—spiritually, athletically, and culturally.”
Day and his wife reside in Florida, where she works for Give Kids the World, a nonprofit serving terminally ill children and their families. Together, they are devoted to making an impact both on and off the field through faith, service, and leadership.
