JD has been coaching volleyball for over 20 years.  He has coached in the USA High Performance and USA Sitting Volleyball Programs. JD played at the college club level. He has been the assistant at Warner University since 2022 assisting with recruiting, consulting  and training. 

When JD is not assisting at Warner University, he is the Head Coach at Southwest Florida Christian Academy where he holds the schools all time winningest record.  JD owns and is the Club Director of Florida Conquer Volleyball and Owner of The Setter Lab, a high performance setting development program based in Fort Myers, FL.  

JD has used his experience and training to author books on volleyball philosophy and building mindset.  He brings a different eye on traditional volleyball to the program and looks forward to assisting them in creating a competitive edge through recruiting and consulting. 

He is married to the amazing Leslee and has one son, Jaxon.  Go Royals!
