Niesha Lowe enters her second season at the helm of the Warner University Women’s Basketball program after relocating to Florida in 2024 with her son, Jaylen. In her first year leading the Royals, she guided the team to a 9-18 overall record and secured a spot in the first round of the Sun Conference Playoffs—laying the foundation for a strong future in Lake Wales.
Prior to joining Warner, Lowe built a standout coaching résumé at Siena Heights University (Adrian, MI), where she began her collegiate coaching career in 2016 as a recruiter. Her dedication and impact on the program quickly earned her a promotion to full-time assistant coach and recruiting coordinator in 2021.
During the 2023-2024 season, she played a pivotal role in leading the Saints to a historic 27-5 campaign—tying the program record for most wins in a single season. Over just three seasons, she helped guide Siena Heights to a remarkable 75-20 overall record, including a 51-11 mark in conference play. The Saints finished top three in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) each of those years and made two trips to the NAIA National Tournament.
Her time at Siena Heights was marked by exceptional player development and recruitment. She was instrumental in bringing in and coaching numerous standout athletes, including NAIA All-Americans Peyton Banks and Sha’kyia Parker, All-Conference Defensive Player E’Anna Won, and 2023-24 Conference Newcomer Madison Vice. Under her leadership, the program also celebrated over 25 Academic All-Conference selections and more than 22 NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Lowe’s coaching journey also includes experience with the Grand Valley State University Club Team (NCAA DII), the Grand Rapids Galaxy (semi-professional), and high school programs at Ottawa Hills and Union High School—her alma mater in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
As a student-athlete, she competed in both basketball and track & field at Aquinas College (2004–2006) before transferring to Siena Heights University (2006–2008), where she earned a B.A. in Sports Management. After graduation, she played semi-professionally for the Flint Flames during their 2009 inaugural season.
