Lady Royals Lose Final Road Game of the Season to Embry-Riddle



DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – In their final Sun Conference road match of the season, Warner University women's volleyball team fell to Embry-Riddle University 3-0 (13-25, 13-25, 12-25) on Saturday afternoon in the ICI Center.  The loss is the fifth of the season in league play for the Lady Royals (7-5) and drops their overall record to 8-12.  The Eagles improve to 16-9 overall and 10-1 in league play.

Offensively, Marisa Moralobo led the Lady Royals with nine kills in the match.  Adrienne Czaplewski and Tiffani Pate followed with six and five kills respectively. 

Heather Lockwood finished one dig of the game-high with 18 total digs.  Czaplewski also had 15 digs on the defensive front for the Lady Royals.

Next week, the Lady Royals return to the Turner Athletic Center to close out the regular season portion of their 2014 schedule.  On Friday, Nov. 7, the Lady Royals will recognize the careers of three seniors: Marisa Moralobo, Tiffani Pate and Taylor Semione.  As part of senior night, the Lady Royals will take on St. Thomas University at 7 p.m.  Then on Saturday, Nov. 8, Florida Memorial University comes to town for a 12 p.m. match to close out the regular season.
