LAKE WALES, Fla. - A strong second half by the Bobcats of St. Thomas University sent Warner University women's basketball team to their sixth straight loss on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Royals were outscored 30-16 in the second half and fell to the conference-leading Bobcats 57-42. The loss drops the Lady Royals to 5-12 on the year and 1-7 in The Sun Conference. The Bobcats improve to 15-3 with the win and remain undefeated in league play at 8-0.
The Bobcats had the final possession of the half and got fouled under the basket with less than a second on the clock.
The Lady Royals defense was the story of the first half forcing 13 St. Thomas turnovers. The Lady Royals were efficient with the extra possessions scoring 15 points off the Bobcats miscues.

Eliana Albert all had steals in the first half for Warner.
Points were hard to come by for the Lady Royals to start the second half. The Bobcats opened the half on a 19-6 run down to the 8:05 mark. As a team, the Lady Royals were 25.9% shooters in the second half and were outscored 30-16.
Marie Fleurival recorded her third double-double of the season leading the Lady Royals with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Hannah Kotzen added nine points and
I'munique Green came off the bench to score eight points.
