BABSON PARK, Fla. – In their final game of the regular season, Warner University women's soccer team lost to cross-town rivals Webber International University 5-2 on Wednesday morning. The Lady Royals scored twice in the first half but the Warriors pulled away in the second half dropping the Warner record to 6-8 on the year and 2-9 in Sun Conference play.
It was fast paced first half with four goals scored in the first 23 minutes of the game. Webber struck first with a pair of goals in the fifth and sixth minute. The goals were less than two minutes apart and put the Warriors ahead 2-0.
Naybet Febo converted a penalty kick in the tenth minute to cut the lead in half, 2-1. It was the fourth goal of the season for the Warner senior. In the 23

Jamie Murray scored to tie the game at 2-2. Murray now has 18 goals in the 14 games for the Lady Royals.
The Warriors added their third goal of the half in the 36
th minute on a penalty kick and took a 3-2 lead into halftime. The Warriors outshot the Lady Royals 12-5 in the opening half.
In the second half, Webber's leading goal scorer, Cierra Abundez, scored twice to put the game out of reach for the home team.
Febo led the team with three shots while Murray followed with two.
