LAKE WALES, Fla. – In their second Sun Conference game of the week, Warner University women's soccer team lost to Johnson & Wales University 4-0 on Saturday afternoon. The loss in the second of the season for the Lady Royals drops their overall record to 2-2 while their conference record is now 0-2.
The Wildcats got off to a hot start in the first half with three goal in the first 35 minutes. The Lady Royals held a 10-8 shot advantage in the first half but trailed on the scoreboard at halftime.
The Wildcats tacked on another goal in the 64
th minute to end the scoring. The Lady Royals fired of eight more shots in the second half but none found the back of the net.
Nicole Screnock had four shots for the Lady Royals.

Next weekend the Lady Royals hit the road for a pair of Sun Conference games in Georgia. First on Thursday, Oct. 1, the Lady Royals travel to Savannah, Ga. for a 5 p.m. showdown with SCAD Savannah. Then on Saturday, Oct. 3, they head into Thomasville, Ga. for a 12 p.m. kickoff with Thomas University.
