ResultsVALDOSTA, Ga. – Competing for the second time this season, Warner University men's golf team placed eighth at the Thomas University Fall Invitational held at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Course. The Royals finished the two-day event with a two-round 588 (289-299). Fellow Sun Conference member Keiser University finished an incredible 21-under par to win the tournament and defending NAIA National Champion College of Coastal Georgia finished second at 17-under par.
Keiser's Felix Aberg was the low individual medalist in the 84-member field. Aberg shot a 132 (64-68) to finish at 12-under par.
Warner was led by newcomer Eovin Lindgned who finished in a four-way tie for 18
th place with a 145 (72-73).
Jake Levens was two shots back in a tie for 24
th with a two-round 147 (73-74).Â
Ross Lally and
Jae Sung Hur both finished at +4 for the tournament. Lally shot rounds of 72 and 76 while Sung Hur fired a 77 and 71.
Collin Johnson was two shots back with a 149 (72-77) and
Jacob Fleck carded a 150 (74-76).Â
Also competing for the Royals,
Christian Mota shot a 167 (81-86).
Next up for the Royals is a trip to Montgomery, Ala. for the Faulkner University Fall Invitational on Oct. 18-20.
