Women's Soccer Notches Another Win

Box Score MIAMI, Fla.- The women's soccer team has come away with another conference victory as they are 2-1 in their last three conference matches. They went down to Miami on Saturday afternoon to make up the postponed match against Johnson and Wales and came away with a 2-1 win. Johnson and Wales got on the board first as they scored a goal in the 40th minute of play but the second half was all Warner.

In the 59th minute, Kristen Isabelle put a ball in the back of the net on an assist from Ashley Cole to tie the match up at one apiece. Then in the 98th minute of play, Isabelle found Samantha Warren as Warren put her shot away to preserve the win for the Royals. The victory improved the Royals record to 4-8 (2-5) on the season. Warner will next travel up to University of South Carolina Beaufort on Tuesday October 25 for a 3 pm start.
