Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla.- The Royals men's basketball team came away with a big win over Florida National University in their 2016-2017 home opener 96-75. The Royals did not waste any time in the game as they jumped out early on the visiting Conquistadors as they went up 10-3 quickly. The Royals never trailed in the game as they shot 5-%, 17-34, from the field in the first half and took a 49-33 lead into halftime. The second half was much of the same for Warner as they continued to show their dominance in the game. The Royals were able to extend their lead and go up by as much as 31 late in the game. In the end, it was all Warner as they cruised to the 21 point, 96-75 win at home. The Royals were led once again by
Warren Hall who finished the game with 42 points shooting 14-25 from the field while making 12-15 free throws. Two other Royals finished in double digits as
Josh Ellis and
Denzel Osson added 10 points each.
Nick Macon led the offense with 7 assists while Hall dropped in six of his own.
The Royals will be back in action at home this Friday November 11 at 7 pm against Florida College.
