Royals Upset By Seahawks

Box Score WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The #3 ranked Warner Royals went down to West Palm Beach to take on (RV) Keiser Seahawks on Thursday night in a Sun Conference match-up. In their first meeting on January 12, the Royals got the better of the Seahawks, 76-73, in a thrilling match. On Thursday night, the Seahawks handed the Royals their worst loss of the season, 96-60. The Royals had their worst shooting night of the season as well, going only 21-69, 30% from the field. The Sehawks went on an early 13-0 run in the first half to take a 24-8 lead with 13 minutes left in the first half. Keiser built up a 17 point lead late but the Royals finished the half on an 11-5 run to cut the halftime lead to eleven, 44-33. The second half was one of the worst halves the Royals have had the entire season as they only shot 27% to the Seahawks 61%. Warner was unable to get anything going in half number two and the Seahawks would end the night with the 96-60 upset win at home over the Royals. For the first time this season, Warren Hall was not the games leading scorer, however, he did lead the Royals with 18 points. Warner fell to 18-3 (7-3) on the season with the loss. On Saturday January 28, the Royals will travel down to Miami to take on Johnson and Wales at 4 pm.
