#25 Royals Extend Win Streak To 5 After Fighting Off Mariners

LAKE WALES, Fla. – Nick Macon Scores season high 30 pts in route to Royals 5-0 start to the season and 1st TSC win.

GAME RECAP

An extremely slow start to the 1st half found the Mariners in the lead 32-30. Donovan Brown was the leader for Coastal Georgia as he had 14 pts, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block. Nick Macon was the point leader for Warner as he had 10 pts, 3 assists and 1 steal. Khalil Ozuna put up a solid 11 rebounds as well.

The 2nd half was all Royals as Nick Macon added 20 more points and Adam Giger fired up for 13 pts of his own. The Royals fought back from being down by 8 pts late in the first half to a 10 pt victory, 77-67.

Khalil Ozuna posted a double-double of 10 pts and 11 rebounds, while Nick Macon posted a season high 30 pts.

Head coach Sean Hanrahan said, "Conference wins are always big. This win was even more significant because of the caliber team we beat. Coastal Georgia is fresh off traveling to the NAIA D-I #6 Dalton State and beating them in their own house. I'm really encouraged by the balanced scoring in our last 5 games. But tonight, All-Conference point guard, Nick Macon was great. His maturity leading the team on both ends and shot making ability led us to victory. Khalil Ozuna and Andrew Lamb were huge defensive anchors in the second half."

Tonight's leaders for the Royals were…
