Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla.- The men's basketball team hosted rival Webber International Warriors Thursday night in the TAC. The #3 ranked Royals did not disappoint a packed house. The Warriors would jump out to a 7-0 lead, but the Royals came right back with a 12-0 run to take a 12-7 lead with 13:05 left in the first half. Over the next seven minutes, the Royals would go on a 16-11 run to build up a ten point, 28-18, lead with 6:11 left int he half. The Royals would hang on to that lead throughout the rest of the first half to go into halftime up 41-32 on the Warriors. The Royals jumped on the Warriors to open the second half and quickly build upon their lead. By the 11:08 mark of the second half, the Royals had extended their lead to 16, 55-39. Warner would dominate the rest of the second half as they would lead by as many as 24 points over the Warriors. Webber would score late to cut the Royals lead down to 18, but the Royals would come away victorious by the score of 75-57. Warner was led in the game by
Warren Hall with 25 points,
Josh Ellis and Issac Sutton would drop in 13 apiece, and
Adam Giger would add 10 points. With the win, the Royals improve to 20-3 (9-3) on the season. The Royals will have a quick turnaround as they will take on Trinity College Friday night at the TAC at 7 pm.
