I'munique Green led the way with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
Charisa Broadway scored 12 points with 3 rebounds, and
Alana St. Clair puts up 11 points with 8 rebounds. The Royals notched their 11
th win of the season.
It seemed to be a defeating game in favor of Florida College as the Falcons jumped out to a quick 21-8 lead. The score settled to 24-13 at the end of the first quarter following a nothing but net 3-pointer from
Cierra Wilson. The Royals were trailing by 11 at the end of the first quarter. That drastically changed as the second quarter arrived. The Royals made precise adjustments that allowed them to outscore Florida College 15-3 in the second quarter and end the half with the Royals leading 28-27.
With the start of the second half, both teams came out ready to compete. The efforts on the court showed as
I'munique Green registered 7 points and 4 total rebounds and
Sara Poehlman scored 6 points. Florida College fought back as Sarah Lutz added 6 points to the board in the 3
rd. By the end of the quarter, Warner outscored Florida College 14 to 13 to increase their lead, 42-40.
The Royals were able to fight back against the continuous efforts of the Falcons in the final quarter with the royals securing the win over Florida College 63-59.
