LAKE WALES – FLA. The Warner University Women's Volleyball Team had a rematch with their rivals from across the lake tonight, the Webber International University Warriors. Unfortunately, this game did not fall in favor of the Royals, despite a huge fan turnout.

The Royals came out during the first set with a sense of intensity and showed they would not easily give up this fight. Despite great execution and concentration, the first set went to the Warriors 25-20.

In the second set, warner attempted to regain the momentum they had at the beginning of the first set. However, they fell to a 7 point deficit which continued to grow and they could not recover and dropped this set 25-13.

In set 3, the Royals returned with an undeniable hunger as they jumped out to a quick 12 point lead making the score 17-5. The warriors would score 11 more points in an attempted comeback but were put down by the royals who sealed the set 25-16.
Set four looked promising as the Royals maintained the lead for much of the set. Somewhere in the end however, the wheels fell off and both teams were rattled by crowd involvement as well as coach petitions. Webber was able to pull themselves together where the Royals were not, and won this set, sealing the dub 25-21.

Collectively, the Royals had 38 kills, 71 digs, and 7 total blocks.

The Lady Royals will be on the road this weekend where they will play Florida Memorial on Friday the 5^th in Miami, and in West Palm Beach on Saturday the 6^th against Keiser University. Friday's game will be held at 7:00 PM and Saturday's game will be at 2:00 PM.
