AVE MARIA – FLA. Tonight the Lady Royals were on the road as they took on conference opponent the Ave Maria University Lady Gyrenes.

The last time these teams met, Warner came away with a 3 set sweep of the Gyrenes, and this time history repeated itself as they again won by a sweep. The scores of this game were 25-13, 31-29, and 25-18.

Three different Royals played huge rolls offensively as they reached double digit kills. Becca Bowlin had a season high record of 14 kills, and she also put up two blocks. Alexandra Gonzalex was the second Royal to put up dounle digits as she put the ball away 12 times for kills. Breeanna Navarro went double double tonight as she also contributed 11 kills, as well as 10 digs.

Defensively, Andrea Lorenz and Raygen Lee each were solid on the court as they had 20 and 17 digs respectively.

The Royals are now 13-12 overall, and 9-5 in the conference. Their next game will be the last home game of the season as they take on Southeastern University in the TAC at 2:00 PM.
