Warner Women’s Soccer – Lady Royals Ready to Rumble With Lady Rams In NCCAA South Regional Final

LAKE WALES, Fla. – Tomorrow afternoon the Lady Royals will take on the Columbia International Lady Rams in the NCCAA South Regional Final at 2:00 PM! 
 
The Ladies are having one of the finest seasons the program has ever seen, garnering an 11-7-1 record on the year. On top of the team's success the Lady Royals Head Coach, Payton Chitwood, was also recognized as the Sun Conference Coach of the Year this season. 
 
Coach Chitwood has done an excellent job with the girls the last 2 seasons and is looking to keep their successes coming this year as they travel to Columbia International for the NCCAA South Region Final, winner advances to the NCCAA National Championship field.
 
The Rams come into the game sporting a 9-6-4 record on the year and won their qualifying game yesterday against #3 seeded Brewton Parker College 3-2 in penalty kicks. This was a huge win for the Rams so expect the team to have some momentum with them as they enter the pitch this Saturday.

CIU – Sotiria Tsilianis leads the Rams with 7 goals and has 2 assists
 
Kaylan Hernandez is 2ndon the team in goals scored with 4 and also has 4 assists.
 
Rebecca Giancana leads the Rams with 7 assists and has also notched 2 goals on the year.
 
WU – Samanntha Warren leads the Royals with 10 goals this season, a career high for Samanntha, she also has 4 assists on the year. Look for Warren to control the ball and use her dribbling ability to find the holes in the defense.  
Emma Marshall has been the Royals defensive back bone all season, controlling the back-court and continuously making life easier for goalie Sarah Bergkvist.
 
Brooke Blommel has been a great asset for the Lady Royals, controlling the wing on defense and gathering 4 offensive assists this season.
 
Naisha Alicea has been an excellent offensive threat this season scoring 3 goals and notching 2 assists. Look for her and Samanntha Warren to take most of the offensive dribbling for the Lady Royals.
