Cole Parks swipes 17^th bag of the season keeping him a perfect 17-17 on the year and the NAIA D-I #1 ranking also keeping The Sun Conference #1 ranking. Trace Porter picks up first win of collegiate career on the mound.

GAME RECAP

The Royals entered in search of their 10^th win and Mount Vernon Nazarene was riding hot start of 5-0 before falling in extras to Southeastern the night before.
None other than Junior Fermin got things started in the bottom of the first with a sacrifice fly scoring Cole Parks from 3^rd. The Cougars tied things up in the top of the 3^rd scoring on an error. A Jesse Haney double in the bottom of the 3^rd broke the tie scoring Rio Russell giving the Royals a 2-1 lead. The Royals exploded in the 6^th inning scoring 6 runs off 6 hits and 4 errors only leaving 1 on base taking a 8-1 lead. The Royals furthered the lead when Kevin Troncoso hit a line shot out to left that was caught but scored Russell. Then Junior Fermin finished things off for the second straight game with a single up the middle with bases loaded scoring Alfred Brown and Xanders Vazquez to finish put the 7^th inning mercy rule.

The Royals move to 10-4 on the year and a 3 game win streak entering a very long favorable home game stretch.
