GAME 1
The Lady Royals in game one, didn't get the offense moving until the top of the 7
th against Keiser.
Avery Cotterill sent a homerun shot to left field getting the first run of the game.
Megan Hammett answered back with a double.
Brianna Barrios was then hit by a pitch.
Brittany Winget hit into a fielder's choice where she was safe at first and move Hammett to third, but Barrios was out at second. On the throw to first to try and get Winget out Hammett rounded third and scored. The score of the game ended 2-0 with the Lady Royals coming out on top.
Sylvia Welsh stunned Seahawks hitters throwing her 6
th complete game of the year. She only gave up 5 hits in the outing striking out 2 and walking 3.
GAME 2
Warner fired up the bats in the second game. In the top of the 1
st Cortney Bunker singled in the infield.
Chantal Crockett singled to move Bunker to second. Bunker stole third on a dropped ball and moved Crockett to second.
Avery Cotterill was hit by a pitch to load the bases.
Kayla Bruno singled scoring Bunker adding the first run to make it 1-0.
Megan Hammett singled to score Crockett, Cotterill and K. Bruno adding the last runs of the inning with the score moving to 4-0. Bottom of the 4
th Keiser answered back with a run of their own making the score 4-1. In the top of the 5
th Sara Bruno singled.
Mckenzye Bobb came in to pinch run. Bobb stole second, and she then stole third on an over throw from the catcher, and on the throw to third the third baseman bobbled the ball and Bobb was able to steal home adding another run to the total score of 5-1. The last few runs came in the top of the 6
th for the Lady Royals. Hammett singled to start off the inning.
Brittany Winget singled to push Hammett to second, an error by the third baseman allowed Hammett to move to third and to score on the play and Winget standing on second.
Madison Taylor doubled to center allowing Winget to score.
Kasey Heslin walked her at bat. Bunker doubled scoring Taylor, Heslin rounded but was thrown out at home. S. Bruno drew a walk. Cotterill answered with a double scoring Bunker and S. Bruno pushing the score to 10-1. The Lady Royals run ruled the Keiser Seahawks taking the sweep for the set of games.
Jordan Lewis threw 5 innings only surrendering 2 hits and 1 run while striking out 3 and walking 4.
Paris Cook threw 1 inning of relief giving up just 1 hit and only facing 4 batters.
