Warner Men’s Basketball – NAIA #19 Royals Topple Night Hawks For 11th Conference Win, Trae Graham Drops 34

Thomasville, GA. – Tonight the Warner Royals defeated the Thomas University Night Hawks 81-78 for their 7th road win and 11th conference win of the year; bringing the Royals season road record to 7-3 and their conference record to 11-2 on the year.
 
Four Royals scored in double digits tonight:  
Warner was able to dominate in the paint tonight, scoring 34 points in the paint and grabbing 44 rebounds as a team. Trae Graham and Bart Schild controlled most of the game down low for the Royals, along with stellar defensive play from Jalen Williams, who play 38 total minutes tonight.
 
Jaylan Shelton fouled out tonight, having only played 22 minutes in the game; Austin Walker and Jaquez Dickerson came off the bench in support tonight and helped the Royals grab their conference leading 11th win.
 
Thomas made a strong surge in the second half tonight but were unable to overpower the Royals down the stretch as they fell just short of completing the comeback. Joshua Scott came off the bench for the Night Hawks and scored 23 points, leading Thomas.
 
This Saturday 2/2 the Royals are back in action in the TAC, looking to keep their 1.000 winning percentage at home as they host the College of Coastal Georgia for what will be their 14th conference game of the year.
