Warner Men’s Soccer – Royals And Wildcats Battle In Double Overtime Thriller

NORTH MIAMI, Fla.- Warner men's soccer ends their weekend with an away match against Johnson & Wales University this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. that ended in the first tie of the season.

The Royals started off strong in the 3rd minute of the game. Simiran Pnaiser hit his second goal of the season and was assisted by Juan Gazzotti. The Wildcats had 13 shots and the Royals had 6 with the only successful goal of the first half. 

The Wildcats had 14 shots with 7 on goal through the second half. The Royals held onto the lead until the very last seconds of the game. The wildcats came back with a thrilling goal with 2 seconds left on the clock in the half! In the 89th minute, Mark Osaghae had the final shot of the second half hitting net. This ended the half with a tie 1-1 going into overtime.

In overtime both teams had 2 unsuccessful shots bringing them into a double overtime. In the second overtime, again both teams attempting to hit net but were unsuccessful. It was a great game against both teams that ended in a tie 1-1.

The Royals men's soccer team will face SCAD-Savannah in Savannah, Georgia on Wednesday October 30th at 7:00 p.m
